Unique ways to say "Thanks" for our session
Thank you for being an awesome client. There are so many ways I find gratification in doing this work: When I see you working really hard to make your life more enjoyable, your body healthier, and your mind clearer, I feel really inspired; I'm happy to be working with you in partnership to help you thrive.
When you thank me, when you return for repeat sessions, I can take the satisfaction of knowing I'm doing something right.
When you come back with stories about how you took our work, applied it to your life, and reaped surprising benefits, I often feel elated; I do a happy dance inside: This stuff works!
One of my big goals these days is to share my work with more people. In particular, my Somatic Experiencing work as well as the mind-body aspects of my of my therapeutic bodywork. So, I'd like to share some other ways you could thank me, that might simultaneously give other people the opportunity learn about my work, and to receive their own healing experiences.
Pick and choose as you wish:
1. Do you use Facebook? After you get a session with me, you could thank me by posting a short blurb on your wall about it. Something like: "Today I was feeling ______ so I had a Somatic Experiencing session with Aaron! We did ______ and now I feel ______ instead!" And then you can link to my website, www.thoughtfultouchmassage.com, or my facebook page: "Thoughtful touch: Somatic Experiencing".
People will see it, then get curious. They might ask you more about it, they might reach out to me, or they might simply be that much more intrigued next time they meet a different Somatic practitioner.
2. You know your friend who complains about pain a lot, or who always seems exhausted and stressed out? You can tell them a story about one of your good experiences here. If they seem interested, you can offer to connect us over e-mail. E-mail introductions are for some reason way more likely to lead to a connection being made than simply passing on contact info.
3. Not everyone knows, but I do Somatic Experiencing sessions over Skype. And, since some people are understandably skeptical about this, I offer a free 30-45 minute intro session where I explain the work to them, help them clarify their goals, and decide together if doing sessions could be helpful or not.
So, if you know someone somewhere else in the country who is working hard to make a difference in the world, or someone who seems like they say "yes" to everything when they really want to learn to say "no" instead, you can let them know that I want to help them with that! And if they are interested, either share my info, or connect us on e-mail!
4. Finally, writing me a review on Google is a great and simple way to share me with the world. Just google "Thoughtful Touch" and you'll find me. Or click here!
I think you know me well enough by now to realize I'm not going to be hard-selling anybody. I really only want to help people I actually think I can help, who want my help, and who are excited to grow and heal.
Fun? Doable? I appreciate your efforts, and hopefully your friend will appreciate it as well. Thanks for being you!
Aaron
